Go see Andrew Bird live. He has one of the coolest stage set-ups I've ever seen, complete with crazy phonograph type speakers made specially for him. He does this crazy looping thing with his instruments, and he whistles. A lot. I got to see him for free last night thanks to my awesome ushering gig. Minus a d-bag fellow usher who was trying to dance like he was at a fucking rave (I don't know you please don't stand right next to me when there's a whole fucking aisle to do your crazy ass raver moves), I had a great time. He played a some songs from his most recent album, Noble Beast, but also played songs from his older albums (woohoo!). His stories about how he ended up writing a lot of his songs were funny too. Moral of this post: Go see Andrew Bird live. You won't regret it.
